Hi, I'm Tim Twelves. If you're reading this then you probably want to know a little bit more about me. I'm originally from London, bit of a Cockney geezer. I graduated from Humberside University (as was) back in the 90's and I now live in San Francisco, working as both a Carpenter and freelance Illustrator and Graphic Artist. I can throw a 80lb bag of cement over my shoulder as easily as crushing a deadline.

I work in both traditional and digital media as well as photography. I mostly use Photoshop - and I've been using it since version 1.0! I produce Theatre posters, Comic books, Pin-ups, Catalogues, Storyboards, Tee-shirts, Book covers, advertisements and more - you name it.

My work has appeared in numerous magazines, comics and advertisements and I am currently de facto Senior Art Director of forthcoming rude quarterly, 'Nicecomic'. At least, that's what the Publisher tells me.

I am currently open to commissions, hire, and licensing, so please feel free to contact me via the menu above.

Here is a brief list of my recent clients:

  • The Idler
  • Ol' Skool Rodz
  • Kustom Culture DeLuxe
  • Shimmy
  • Heirograph
  • Lodestone Theatre
  • TheatreFirst
  • Broadway Play Publishing
  • Orion's Bell Card Games
  • FutureQuake
  • Shriek!
  • Common Ties
  • Commercial Suicide
  • Hard Words
  • Drama Mamas
  • Looking Glass Productions
  • 2b1 Records
  • Soma Books (UK)

Beyond working for clients, which whilst enjoyable and money-making, some of my plans for the end of 2008 or early 2009 include producing a pair of books, one of my Comics work, and one of my Pin-up work (including several which won't be online anytime soon). These should be available through Amazon's new print-on-demand website.

For 2009 and 2010, if all goes well, I shall have 3 more books lined up. I can't say anything more than that so far, but that's mainly because I haven't got a clue yet exactly where I'm going with this.

  • One will be 'Soft' vol. 1, once the webcomic cycles through to that point.
  • One will be for kids. Yeah, you read it here - I plan on doing a book for kids!
  • And the third will be another kids book, but more for the grownups.

In the meantime, I am open to working with new, interesting and exciting people, and should you want to contact me, simply click on the link above to send me an email.

I have nothing to do with Brazilian remix duo, The Twelves. Nor Tim Twelves, the Java programmer, Josh Twelves the comedian and actor, or Laura Twelves the opera singer in San Jose. Or Gail Twelves, Graphic Designer. Some of us are aware of some of the others, though. I'm sure all the other Twelves are simply fabulous.
